CoverGirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara Review

Hello beautiful people!

I think Mascara is one of the things in my collection that I switch up the most, I mean, every brand has at least 4 mascara’s to choose from and they’re constantly bringing out new ones, which of course I always want to try!
So, recently I was wandering through my local Shoppers Drug Mart and saw the new Cover Girl display. Now, usually I don’t gravitate towards Cover Girl as a brand because I haven’t had the best luck with their products in the past, but I thought I’d give this new mascara a try!

The new Full Lash Bloom mascara ($7.99) is actually amazing! Not only is the packaging super cute and springy, the formulation is awesome! It’s definitely more of a day time mascara, as it doesn’t add a lot of volume.
This stuff separates my lashes and coats each individual lash with product, making them look full and long. You can definitely build it up to be a bit more voluminous, although I find it starts to clump the more you add.

I’ve worn this every day for about a week and I can’t say a bad thing about it, it stays in place with a tiny bit of flaking – like literally two flakes- after 10 hours of wearing it!
My only issue with this product is the wand, I’m really not a fan of the plastic wands as I find they tend to hurt my eyes, so I just have to make sure I’m being really careful when I’m applying the product to the base of my lashes. Other than that this mascara gets a huge thumb’s up from me!

Let me know if you’ve tried this and what you think of it!
Until next time my loves,
xoxo

  1. I’m the same with plastic wands! I thought that was just me being soft, or applying it too vigorously! haha. I just don’t like them! But now it’s so hard to find good mascaras that don’t have horrible scratchy plastic wands. /:
